Anxiety is a natural response to stress or uncertainty. It often shows up as worry, nervousness, or a sense that something bad might happen—even if you are not sure what that is. You might notice physical symptoms too, like tense muscles, faster breathing, a racing heart, or trouble sleeping. This is your body’s way of preparing to protect you, even when there’s no immediate danger.
Anxiety, can related to concerns about what might happen in the future—it is often more vague and persistent than a fear of a clear and present threat.
If anxiety is interfering with your daily life, relationships, or sense of well-being, therapy may be help. You do not have to manage it alone.
